A seminar marking Jammu and Kashmir Black Day was organised at Pakistan Embassy Germany today to exhibit Pakistan’s unwavering moral, political and diplomatic support for the Kashmiris’ Right to Self-Determination. The event underscored the enduring bond between Pakistan and the Kashmiri people and reiterated Islamabad’s stance on the dispute.
Speakers at the seminar emphasised that the longstanding international dispute must be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and as enshrined in UN Security Council resolutions. They called on the global community to uphold the principles of justice and self-determination in line with those resolutions.
Throughout the proceedings, participants reiterated Pakistan’s diplomatic commitment to the Kashmir cause, stressing that observances such as Kashmir Black Day serve to renew international focus on the need for a fair and lasting settlement that respects the will of the Kashmiri people.
