On 23 March 2026 the Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow held a formal ceremony to mark Pakistan Day Moscow, beginning with a solemn recitation from the Holy Quran followed by a flag-hoisting ceremony that united attendees in respect and national pride.
Special messages from the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, and the Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, were read to the gathering, conveying the leaders’ greetings and reflections on the occasion to Pakistanis abroad.
The event was attended by embassy officials, members of the Pakistani diaspora living in Russia, and friends of Pakistan, offering an opportunity to strengthen community ties and celebrate national identity far from home.
The embassy’s observance of Pakistan Day Moscow on 23 March underscored its role in bringing together citizens and supporters to commemorate the day and reaffirm shared values and bonds.
