**Pakistan, EU Reaffirm Strategic Partnership at 10th Political Dialogue in Brussels**

Pakistan and the European Union (EU) reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their wide-ranging partnership during the 10th Pakistan–EU Political Dialogue held in Brussels. The high-level talks covered bilateral cooperation, security issues, regional developments, and plans to expand collaboration across various institutional frameworks.

The Pakistani delegation at the dialogue was led by Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch, while the European side was headed by Ambassador Olaf Skoog, Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service (EEAS). Both delegations reviewed the Strategic Engagement Plan established in 2019, assessing progress and exploring new avenues to broaden the relationship’s scope.

A key outcome of the discussion was the agreement to explore adding strengthened security-related cooperation within the broader dialogue framework. This reflects a shared interest in expanding the existing partnership to address emerging global and regional security challenges.

The two sides also discussed a range of regional and international issues, with particular attention paid to developments in South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Both delegations identified areas where their strategic interests converge and reaffirmed their joint support for diplomacy, multilateralism, and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

Enhancing collaboration in multilateral fora, including at the United Nations, was also a priority. Participants agreed to intensify cooperation on global issues such as peace, stability, and sustainable development.

The Pakistan and EU delegations reiterated the importance of building on the positive momentum generated by recent high-level exchanges. Both sides signaled their intention to expand engagement through structured institutional frameworks, highlighting a shared commitment to strengthening ties and achieving mutual objectives on the global stage.
