Pakistan Guatemala relations advanced as Ambassador Shozab Abbas met Guatemala Vice Minister Mónica Bolaños Pérez to discuss political consultations and a visa exemption.

Ambassador Shozab Abbas, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s envoy to Mexico and concurrently accredited to Guatemala, held a high-level meeting with Guatemala’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mónica Bolaños Pérez. The discussion focused on enhancing diplomatic engagement and practical cooperation between the two countries.

Both delegations explored ways to further strengthen Pakistan Guatemala relations, including the proposal of an agreement on bilateral political consultations to deepen dialogue and coordination. A potential Visa Exemption Agreement was also discussed as a means to facilitate official travel and promote closer ties.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan and Guatemala to sustained dialogue, cooperation, and respect for international law. Officials underscored the importance of continued consultations to translate these discussions into concrete agreements that advance mutual interests.
