Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem hosted a reception at his residence to honor Akamatsu Schuichi, the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, highlighting the strengthening relationship between the two countries and acknowledging mutual efforts in various fields.
During the gathering, Senator Waseem praised Ambassador Akamatsu’s proactive engagement since assuming his post. He noted the ambassador’s public outreach efforts, support for Pakistan’s infrastructure projects, and active role in human resource development. The senator pointed to the Pakistan–Japan Human Resources Stakeholders Meeting as a significant milestone in promoting talent exchange and workforce collaboration between the two nations.
