The Pakistan Junior Squash Team received a heartfelt hero’s welcome upon their return to Islamabad, following their outstanding achievements at the Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship held in South Korea. The young athletes secured multiple medals, bringing national pride and reigniting excitement for Pakistan’s future in squash.
The team’s remarkable medal tally included two prestigious gold medals: Muhammad Sohail Adnan emerged victorious in the Boys Under-13 category, while Nauman Khan claimed gold in the Boys Under-15 event. Their teammates also showcased commendable performances, adding significantly to Pakistan’s medal haul; Ahmed Rayyan Khalil secured a silver medal in the Boys Under-15 category, while Mahnoor Ali earned silver in the Girls Under-13 event. Additionally, Abdullah Nawaz rounded off the achievements by bringing home bronze in the highly competitive Boys Under-19 category.
Upon their arrival at Islamabad International Airport, the young champions were greeted by impressive scenes of celebration and admiration. After the airport reception, celebrations continued at the headquarters of the Pakistan Squash Federation.
