Ambassador Alexandra Berg von Linde joined as Chief Guest at the launch of Pakistan’s first Digital Retirement Platform, developed by Mahaana Wealth in collaboration with IGI Life Insurance.
The initiative aims to make retirement planning accessible to everyone through smart and digital solutions, reflecting a drive to expand financial inclusion across Pakistan. The newly introduced platform positions Digital Retirement as a practical option for citizens seeking streamlined long-term savings and pension planning.
The platform draws inspiration from global models, including Sweden’s approach to inclusive and sustainable financial systems. The ambassador highlighted how international lessons can be adapted to local markets to promote broader participation and resilience in retirement outcomes.
Mahaana Wealth and IGI Life say the collaboration combines technology and industry expertise to lower barriers to retirement planning. By offering user-friendly digital pathways, the project seeks to bring more Pakistanis into structured retirement saving and to support sustainable financial futures.
Stakeholders noted that the Digital Retirement platform could complement existing financial services and encourage policymakers, providers and consumers to prioritise long-term financial security through accessible, tech-enabled solutions.
