Pakistan Mango Festival Showcases Mango Richness in Kuala Lumpur

Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar inaugurated the Pakistan Mango Festival in Kuala Lumpur, organized by the Pakistan High Commission, to showcase Pakistan’s rich mango heritage and foster agricultural trade and cultural relations between Pakistan and Malaysia.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senator Ishaq Dar highlighted that mangoes from Pakistan enjoy widespread acclaim for their unparalleled taste, aroma, and variety. He underscored that events such as the Mango Festival not only present Pakistan’s agricultural diversity abroad, but also strengthen trade ties by opening doors to increased business opportunities and collaborations within the agriculture and food industry.

The festival, attended by a number of dignitaries, business leaders, and representatives from both Pakistani and Malaysian communities, featured a wide variety of premium-quality Pakistani mangoes. Visitors enjoyed tasting and exploring different mango varieties, gaining a deeper appreciation for Pakistani agricultural expertise and produce.

The event, organized under the patronage of the Pakistan High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, forms part of Pakistan’s broader diplomatic efforts to use “cultural diplomacy” effectively, establishing better mutual understanding and bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Malaysia.
