Pakistan Navy delegation attended MoFA orientation on policy and foreign challenges in Islamabad, strengthening civil-military and international cooperation.

A delegation from the 55th Pakistan Navy Staff Course visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on October 20, 2025 for a focused orientation on the ministry’s role in shaping Pakistan’s external engagements.

The session was delivered by Additional Foreign Secretary (Spokesperson) Tahir Andrabi, who briefed participants on the functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the process of policy formulation, and the key foreign policy challenges facing Pakistan today. The orientation aimed to give military officers a clearer view of diplomatic constraints and priorities.

The delegation included officers from the Pakistan Navy alongside representatives of the Army and Pakistan Air Force, as well as officers from 16 friendly countries. The interaction provided an opportunity for the Pakistan Navy and international participants to deepen their understanding of diplomatic processes and improve coordination on issues where defence and foreign policy intersect.

By engaging the Pakistan Navy and other services in a structured briefing on MoFA operations, the ministry continues to support informed decision-making across state institutions and to foster closer civil-military and international ties.
