The Pakistan Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 was officially inaugurated by Federal Minister for IT & Telecom Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, accompanied by Additional Secretary IT & Telecom Mr. Rafique Buriro and H.E. Faisal Tirmizi, Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE. The opening ceremony underlined Pakistan’s expanding footprint in the global technology arena as the pavilion opened its doors to delegates and international partners.

Representatives from the Pakistan Software Export Board and the Pakistan Software Houses Association were present to support the national contingent, which features 25+ Pakistani tech companies. The Pakistan Pavilion brings together a cross-section of software exporters, startups and established firms to demonstrate the country’s digital capabilities and export readiness to a global audience.

The inauguration signals the start of a week focused on innovation, collaboration and digital excellence, with Pakistan using the platform to advance partnerships and attract investment. The presence of senior government officials alongside industry bodies highlights Islamabad’s push to boost technology exports and deepen ties with global markets through events like GITEX.
