The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has expressed commitment to strengthening economic and trade relations between Pakistan and Rwanda. ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, speaking during Rwanda’s National Day celebrations, applauded the cordial ties already established between the two nations and conveyed his dedication to enhancing bilateral business collaborations.
At the ceremony held in Islamabad to commemorate Rwanda’s independence and national progress, President Qureshi extended warm congratulations to the Ambassador of Rwanda and the Defence Attaché, Lt. Col. Shyaka Kajugiro Ismail. He emphasized the importance Pakistan places on its partnership with Rwanda, highlighting opportunities to expand existing economic linkages.
In addition to interacting with Rwandan officials, President Qureshi engaged in productive conversations with ambassadors and high commissioners from several other friendly countries. These meetings focused on identifying avenues for increased economic cooperation and exploring broader bilateral and multilateral trading opportunities.
Executive Member of ICCI, Waseem Chaudhry, was also present at the ceremony. Chaudhry underlined the Chamber’s ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s global economic profile through active engagement in international trade relations and promoting greater business outreach.
