Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain has emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to national sovereignty, assuring that the nation will never compromise on its independence and will continue to stand firmly behind its armed forces.
Speaking at a seminar in Islamabad organized by the Workers Welfare Fund, Chaudhry Salik Hussain highlighted the significance of the event, referring to it as the “Marka-e-Haq,” which symbolizes the ongoing journey of Pakistan since its inception in 1947. He stressed that the nation’s endurance and dignity are rooted not only in its geographical boundaries but also in the enduring ideology that defines Pakistan.
The minister recalled a recent episode where Pakistan’s armed forces, under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, successfully countered Indian aggression. He described this as not merely a military success, but a triumph of the core values and founding principles of Pakistan.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain also praised the Workers Welfare Fund for its efforts in providing quality education, healthcare, and development opportunities for the labor community, recognizing the organization’s role in improving the lives of industrial workers.
Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Mohammad Awn Saqlain joined in appreciating the contributions of the Workers Welfare Fund, while Secretary WWF Zulfiqar Ahmad delivered the opening address at the ceremony.
Director General of the National University of Modern Languages, Brigadier Shahzad Munir, reaffirmed the armed forces’ readiness to defend every part of the country. The event also featured patriotic performances by students from educational institutions supported by the Workers Welfare Fund.
Concluding the ceremony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain distributed prizes and shields to distinguished students, recognizing their achievements. The seminar was attended by Federal Secretary for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary, along with numerous national and international dignitaries.
