The Pakistan Squash contingent arrives at Islamabad International Airport to a warm reception after a stellar performance at the Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship held in South Korea, claiming multiple medals across various age categories.
Pakistani athletes showcased exceptional talent at the prestigious squash event, securing two gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal. Their success at the international championship has brought pride and honour to the nation, highlighting Pakistan’s strength and potential in junior squash.
The gold medalists include Muhammad Sohail Adnan, who triumphed in the Boys Under-13 category, and Nauman Khan, winner of the Boys Under-15 category. The team also gained notable honours with silver medals achieved by Ahmed Rayyan Khalil in the Boys Under-15 category and Mahnoor Ali in the Girls Under-13 category. In addition, Abdullah Nawaz contributed to the country’s success by capturing the bronze medal in the Boys Under-19 event.
To honour the athletes’ accomplishments, the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has invited representatives from print and electronic media outlets to cover the welcoming ceremony and reception of the victorious squash contingent at Islamabad International Airport.
