Top students selected for an education exchange to Turkey; Ministry and PM-backed tour aims to deepen academic and cultural ties.

In Islamabad on October 16, 2025, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training hosted a ceremony at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) to honour top-performing students from boards across the country who have been selected for an education exchange tour to Turkey.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui attended as chief guest and offered his heartfelt congratulations, wishing the students success in their future academic and personal endeavours. His remarks underlined the importance of international exposure for young scholars.

The initiative reflects the vision of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and has been organised under his special directions to promote educational excellence and foster international collaboration. Organisers said the tour is intended to deepen academic and cultural ties between Pakistan and Turkey through sustained education exchange.

Director General FDE and the Director Academics FDE were also present to show institutional backing for the programme. Organisers described the initiative as a strategic opportunity for students to broaden their perspectives and for both countries to strengthen long-term people-to-people links.
