**Pakistan Taekwondo Federation President Elected to Asian Taekwondo Union Council**
Lt Col (R) Raja Wasim Ahmed, President of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, has been elected as a Council Member of the Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU), marking a significant advancement for Pakistan’s influence within the international Taekwondo community.
The election took place during the ATU General Assembly in Kuching, Malaysia, where representatives from various countries gathered to shape the future direction of Taekwondo on the continent. Lt Col Raja Wasim Ahmed’s new role on the ATU Council is seen as recognition of his longstanding dedication to promoting Taekwondo both in Pakistan and on the international stage.
In addition to Pakistan’s milestone, the assembly saw Mr. Sang Jin Kim of South Korea elected as the new President of the ATU, signaling a new chapter of leadership for Taekwondo across Asia.
