Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker in Islamabad today, noting the positive momentum in Pakistan US ties following recent high-level exchanges.

The conversation referenced recent interactions in New York and Washington, D.C., which, according to the delegation, have helped set a constructive tone for future cooperation. Senator Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s continued engagement in efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East and the wider region.

Both sides expressed a desire to further deepen bilateral cooperation across diverse fields. The U.S. Chargé d’Affaires conveyed strong interest from American companies in investing in Pakistan’s energy, critical minerals and information technology sectors, a development officials said could bolster economic ties and create new opportunities for partnership.

The meeting in Islamabad on October 9, 2025 emphasised building on recent exchanges to expand collaboration in trade and investment, while maintaining Pakistan’s active diplomatic role on regional stability.
