Pakistan US Partnership advances as Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar meets U.S. Chargé Natalie Baker to strengthen cooperation across political, economic and social areas.

Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Human Rights, met the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker at the Ministry of Human Rights in Islamabad today. The minister warmly welcomed the envoy and underlined the longstanding importance of the Pakistan US Partnership, noting that the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Washington signalled a shared intention to expand political understanding and open fresh avenues for cooperation.

Both delegations welcomed the positive momentum in bilateral ties and expressed satisfaction that relations are progressing in a spirit of mutual respect and constructive engagement. They stressed that sustained dialogue, stability and sustained goodwill are essential to building stronger connections between the two countries and to advancing common goals.

The minister emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to deepening cooperation across political, economic and social spheres, and highlighted the role of continued engagement in addressing human rights and development priorities. Natalie Baker reiterated the U.S. commitment to work with Pakistan on areas of mutual interest, reinforcing the practical dimension of the Pakistan US Partnership.
