Pakistan Vaccine Initiatives Discussed at WHA Geneva Meeting

Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal held an important meeting with Gavi CEO Dr. Sania Nishtar on the sidelines of the World Health Assembly in Geneva. The discussion focused on strengthening Pakistan’s immunization campaigns and enhancing institutional capacity for local vaccine production. Both leaders explored strategies to improve the effectiveness of vaccination efforts and considered steps to boost the country’s ability to produce vaccines domestically, aiming to protect public health and respond more efficiently to future health challenges.
