Islamabad, March 29, 2026 — Barrister Danyal Chaudhry welcomed the high-level consultative meeting in Islamabad between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, and the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Türkiye, describing the Quadrilateral talks as a significant step toward de-escalation in the Middle East.
He said Pakistan’s facilitation of the Quadrilateral talks reflects the international community’s confidence in the country’s balanced diplomatic outreach. Barrister Danyal underlined Pakistan’s constructive and proactive role in promoting regional peace and stability under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Emphasizing dialogue, restraint and peaceful resolution of conflicts, he noted that de-escalation and sustained engagement are essential for lasting stability in the region. Barrister Danyal reiterated that Pakistan will continue to play a positive and facilitative role in advancing regional harmony and supporting efforts aimed at enduring peace in the Middle East.
