The Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives held an interactive session reflecting the vision of the Federal Minister for Planning, bringing together interns working in various departments to engage directly with the minister. During the discussion, the federal minister emphasized the vital role of young interns as active partners in national development, highlighting that internships serve as an important bridge between academic learning and practical government operations. He noted that such experiences foster responsibility, discipline, and a spirit of public service among youth.

The minister also discussed the comprehensive national reform and development framework, “Uraan Pakistan,” stating that the program aims to empower young people to become co-architects of the country’s future. Additionally, Professor Ahsan Iqbal stressed the necessity of critical thinking and media literacy in the current age, urging young participants to remain well-informed amidst the prevalence of misinformation and misleading content.

This initiative demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to evidence-based policy making, institutional strengthening, and the effective inclusion of young talent in Pakistan’s development agenda.
