**Romania Welcomes Pakistani Mangoes, Celebrates Mango Day**
Romania is now welcoming the flavors of Pakistan’s famed mangoes, as the country joins in celebrating Mango Day. Highlighting the appeal of Pakistani mangoes, Romanian diplomat Dan Stoenescu praised their rich and juicy taste, labeling them the “king of fruits.” He emphasized Pakistan’s impressive range of over 250 varieties, with about 30 popular favorites including Chaunsa, Sindhri, and Anwar Ratol, ensuring there is a mango for every palate.
The diplomat expressed enthusiasm about the availability of Pakistani mangoes in Romania, inviting locals to experience their unique taste. He also extended gratitude to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for facilitating the introduction of these mangoes to the Romanian market. This development not only marks the cultural collaboration between the two countries, but also offers Romanian consumers a new tropical delicacy to enjoy.
