Pakistani startups showcase at Asia Berlin Summit

Pakistani startups presented at Asia Berlin Summit 2025; explore AidLedger, Sybrid and Ornate Solutions with support from the Pakistan Embassy.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Berlin arranged a booth for emerging startups founded by Pakistani students and the diaspora at the Asia Berlin Summit 2025, held on 24-25 November at the Rotes Rathaus. The embassy’s presence aimed to promote Pakistani startups and provide a platform for student-led ventures to engage with international attendees and potential partners.

Mr. Abdullah Khwaja, a Pakistani student in Germany, presented his startup AidLedger, a blockchain-based platform designed to make humanitarian aid more transparent and secure by creating a coordinated and trustworthy system for NGOs and communities in need. AidLedger highlighted how blockchain can improve accountability in relief distribution while connecting donors and implementers.

Ms. Sumaira Riaz represented Sybrid and showcased a range of digital services and solutions to visitors, illustrating practical tools and offerings developed by Pakistani talent abroad. Mr. Nauman Tauseef of Ornate Solutions GmbH demonstrated modern cloud and data infrastructure services integrated with AI-driven workflow agents, reflecting the technical capabilities emerging from the Pakistani tech diaspora.

Ambassador Saqlain Syedah visited the Pakistani stall, spoke with the founders and encouraged the young talent, expressing hope that even more Pakistani startups will participate in next year’s summit. The embassy’s support underscored a growing focus on enabling Pakistani startups to gain visibility on international stages.
