Pasban Watan registered by the Election Commission, now cleared to operate nationwide; leadership vows to tackle core issues and empower ordinary citizens.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has completed the formal registration of Pasban Watan Pakistan, enabling the party to conduct political activities across the country under the constitution and applicable laws.

Party leadership met with media representatives to outline the aims and objectives of Pasban Watan. Tahir Khokhar, president of Pasban Watan, told reporters the party aims to become a source of hope for disappointed citizens by focusing on practical solutions rather than slogans. He said the party’s team has identified the fundamental issues that have left the country and its people mired in problems, and vowed to work to remove obstacles that stand in the way of national development.

Nabi Shah, secretary general, told journalists that the parliamentary system has left the common man disillusioned and that what is needed is a change in the basic structure rather than merely new faces. He said Pasban Watan has prepared a workable presidential model intended to empower ordinary citizens and to prevent governance that privileges only the wealthy.

Ataullah Mengal, city president Quetta and finance secretary of the party, highlighted the deprivations and persistent problems faced by ordinary people in Balochistan and urged that those regional grievances be addressed as part of the party’s national programme.

With registration now complete, Pasban Watan says it will organise and pursue its priority of changing conditions for the public, focusing on core issues and concrete work to improve livelihoods and advance development across provinces.
