PASHA Leaders at Pakistan Cybersecurity Conference

PASHA leaders positioned Pakistan cybersecurity as a national priority at the Annual Cyber Security Conference Pakistan 2025, urging stronger public-private cooperation.

On 3rd December PASHA Chairman Sajjad Syed and PASHA CEC member Salman Dar participated in the Annual Cyber Security Conference Pakistan 2025, underscoring the importance of Pakistan cybersecurity for national resilience.

Sajjad Syed delivered a keynote on Cybersecurity as a National Priority, emphasising the need to protect critical infrastructure and setting out practical approaches for collaboration between government and industry to safeguard the country’s digital ecosystem.

In a subsequent panel discussion titled Pakistan’s Critical Infrastructure Under Threat: A National Risk Assessment, Salman Dar outlined potential risks, recommended mitigation strategies and stressed the role of coordinated efforts across sectors to reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen national cyber defences.

The conference concluded with Ghazanfar Ali Khan, CEO at EPL, CBA & Keytaab, presenting shields to Sajjad Syed and Salman Dar in recognition of their contributions to the event and to advancing Pakistan cybersecurity discussions.

PASHA reiterated its commitment to promoting cybersecurity awareness, encouraging public-private partnerships and supporting measures that enhance Pakistan cybersecurity for a safer digital future.
