Patrolling Police Holds Blood Donation and Free Medical Camp

The Punjab Highway Patrol in Rawalpindi Region organized a blood donation and free medical camp at the Akhori patrolling post, offering vital healthcare services to employees and the local community. The event received active participation from local officials, healthcare professionals, and area residents.

Deputy Commissioner of Attock, Rao Atif Raza, and DSP Patrolling, Fayaz ul Haq, attended as chief guests and themselves donated blood, demonstrating strong support for the initiative. The blood donation camp was conducted in collaboration with the Human Welfare Thalassemia Center DHQ Attock, led by Professor Dr. Maqsood Elahi and his team. A total of 52 donors contributed blood during the camp, aiming to support thalassemia patients and others in need.

In addition to the blood donation drive, a free medical camp was held with the support of the Roshan Health Research and Welfare Society Pakistan. Dr. Syed Rashid Ali, alongside Dr. Maqsood Khan, Principal of Khyber Homeopathic Medical College Mardan, and their team, provided specialized medical services. Free medicines were supplied to attendees courtesy of Raz Homeo Store Peshawar, allowing both employees and the general public to undergo check-ups and receive necessary medications.

The initiative underscored the Punjab Highway Patrolโ€™s commitment to community welfare by addressing health needs and encouraging voluntary blood donation among both staff and the public.
