**Punjab Highway Patrol Rawalpindi Region Launches Major Crackdown on Criminals; Recovers Stolen Vehicle, Arrests Most Wanted Offenders**

The Punjab Highway Patrol in Rawalpindi Region has intensified its operations against criminal elements, successfully recovering a stolen vehicle and apprehending several individuals wanted in various cases. Authorities report a marked increase in patrol efforts under the direction of SSP Muhammad Bin Ashraf.

According to an official statement, a team led by Sub-Inspector Ghulam Ali from the Chak Aka patrol post intercepted and recovered a Toyota Hiace that had been reported stolen in a case registered at Thana Naseerabad, Lahore. The alleged thief, Muhammad Fayaz, son of Niaz Ahmad and a resident of Gujranwala, was taken into custody and a formal case has been lodged against him.

In addition to the vehicle recovery, patrol teams across the region apprehended five individuals wanted in different criminal cases and five more who had been declared absconders by the courts. All suspects have been detained and legal proceedings are underway.

The Punjab Highway Patrol emphasized its ongoing commitment to preventing and combating crime across the region, reaffirming its resolve to ensure safety and security for the public through proactive policing.
