**Patrolling Police Rawalpindi Region Report Highlights Key Achievements in July**

The Punjab Highway Patrol (Patrolling Police) Rawalpindi Region has released its performance report for July, detailing significant accomplishments in law enforcement, road safety, and public assistance across the district.

According to the official release, police registered 72 First Information Reports (FIRs) last month. Seizures included one pistol, one rifle with 13 rounds of ammunition, two stolen vehicles, four motorcycles, and five liters of illicit liquor. Authorities also apprehended 34 proclaimed offenders and 33 absconders wanted by the courts during operations across the region.

In the area of traffic regulation and enforcement, the Patrolling Police issued 28,454 e-challans for various violations. Additionally, cases were filed against 42 drivers for installing substandard gas cylinders in their vehicles, highlighting the force’s ongoing efforts to prevent road hazards.

Vigilant checking through the e-app system led to the verification of over 272,000 individuals and 66,588 vehicles, strengthening security and deterring criminal activity. During their patrols, police also provided assistance to 231 distressed travelers, which included eight first response and medical aid interventions.

The force prioritized the welfare of children by safely reuniting seven missing minors with their families. In support of safe driving, 639 citizens were issued driving licenses, while enforcement measures led to the impounding of 231 motorcycles driven by underage riders and 1,567 motorcycles operated without proper documentation or helmets.

Furthermore, the Patrolling Police conducted several community policing meetings and road safety workshops at their posts. These initiatives received significant appreciation from the public, signaling a positive relationship between the force and local residents.

The spokesperson for the Department of Public Relations emphasized the continued commitment of the Patrolling Police to ensuring safety, security, and public service throughout the Rawalpindi Region.
