Patrolling Police Rawalpindi Rescues 12 Flood-Affected Families

The Rawalpindi Region Patrolling Police successfully conducted a rescue operation, saving twelve families stranded due to flooding in the Attock district.

According to details, the operation was carried out after the Shadi Khan Patrolling Post in Attock district received news of severe flooding caused by rising waters and overflow of the Indus River near Bela. Responding promptly to the emergency, a Patrolling Police team led by Sub-Inspector Moazzam Munir reached the affected area immediately and initiated rescue efforts.

The flooding severely impacted twelve nomadic families, comprising a total of 90 people, including men, women, and children. The Patrolling Police team also managed to rescue approximately 120 livestock animals belonging to the affected families. The challenging rescue operation was successfully completed within approximately six hours.

All individuals were safely evacuated along with their belongings and transferred swiftly to a secure location. Expressing their gratitude, the flood-affected families praised the rapid response, diligent efforts, and dedication of the Patrolling Police personnel.
