**Patrolling Police Rawalpindi Region Distributes Over Rs 5.6 Million for Employee Welfare**

The Patrolling Police of Rawalpindi Region has released its annual welfare report, revealing the distribution of more than Rs 5.6 million among its employees for welfare purposes in the previous financial year. The initiative, led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muhammad Bin Ashraf, underscores the department’s commitment to supporting its personnel through a range of financial assistance programs.

According to the report, the welfare funds covered several key areas. A total of Rs 80,000 was provided as marriage gifts to employees, while educational scholarships amounted to Rs 54,608. The largest allocation—Rs 5,455,000—was granted for medical treatment to ensure employees have access to essential healthcare. Additionally, Rs 49,400 was distributed as retirement gifts to personnel concluding their service.

Department officials emphasized that the welfare of subordinate employees remains a top priority for the Patrolling Police. They reiterated their dedication to taking all practical steps necessary to support staff, aiming to promptly address or alleviate any financial difficulties faced by personnel. The welfare initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to foster a supportive working environment and enhance the well-being of law enforcement staff in the region.
