P&D Board Holds Refresher on SMDP Portal

Punjab P&D Board conducted a refresher on the SMDP Portal to improve ADP formulation, PC processing and monitoring of umbrella and sub-schemes.

The Punjab Planning and Development Board held a refresher training at its Lahore office today to reinforce use of the SMDP Portal for provincial development work. The session brought together officers from multiple departments to review practical workflows and ensure consistent application of the portal in everyday planning tasks.

Trainers covered core modules of the SMDP Portal, with emphasis on ADP formulation procedures, the full PC-I to PC-IV lifecycle and the monitoring framework for umbrella and sub-schemes. Participants were guided through recently introduced features designed to streamline data entry, reporting and cross-departmental coordination.

Officials said the refresher aimed to strengthen departmental capacity and promote seamless utilization of the SMDP Portal so that planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects become more transparent and performance-oriented. Attendees noted the training will support improved tracking of provincial development initiatives and better information sharing across line departments.
