The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), supported by the Norwegian Red Cross, organized a high-level meeting at its National Headquarters focused on integrating Protection, Gender, and Inclusion (PGI) principles into its operations. The initiative aims to ensure that dignity, safety, and inclusion remain central to all humanitarian activities conducted by the organization.
As part of this effort, Dr. Sinha from the Canadian Red Cross visited PRCS to provide a comprehensive briefing for department heads. The discussion emphasized the importance of adopting inclusive approaches and outlined key considerations for strengthening PGI across all PRCS programs.
The session was led by PRCS Secretary General Muhammad Abaidullah Khan, who reiterated the organization’s commitment to upholding the values of protection, gender sensitivity, and inclusion. This meeting marks a significant step toward embedding these principles in PRCS’s ongoing and future humanitarian operations.
