**PHA Rawalpindi Intensifies Beautification Efforts Across City Parks and Green Belts**
The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi has launched an extensive initiative to enhance the beauty of city parks and green belts, aiming to create a lush, environmentally friendly atmosphere and offer improved recreational and security facilities for residents.
Acting under the directives of Director General Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, PHA teams are actively engaged in the decoration, maintenance, and horticulture of strategic locations throughout Rawalpindi. The ongoing work includes planting vibrant flowers, maintaining lush green landscapes, and upgrading parks and intersections along key highways and public squares. These efforts have turned several city spots into centers of public attraction, with impeccably maintained flowers and greenery drawing the attention of visitors and residents alike.
In addition to beautification projects, PHA is routinely maintaining its nurseries to ensure a steady supply of healthy plants and colorful blooms. The organization emphasizes that all necessary measures are being taken to promote a greener city environment. Citizens have lauded the visible results, as the city’s parks and green belts are now flourishing with new plant life and scenic beauty.
Providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere remains a top priority for PHA. According to DG Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, strong security measures have been implemented across all parks, ensuring that families and visitors can enjoy the recreational facilities with peace of mind.
The authority is also leading a vigorous tree plantation campaign as part of its broader environmental initiative to combat urban pollution and foster ecological sustainability. DG Ranjha reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to making Rawalpindi not only aesthetically pleasing but also an environmentally conscious city. “All necessary steps are being taken for public convenience and entertainment. No negligence will be tolerated in this regard,” he stated.
PHA Rawalpindi continues to strive towards creating beautiful, green public spaces that align with the Punjab government’s vision of a healthier and more enjoyable urban environment for all citizens.
