Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, in his capacity as PHEC Chairman, attended the 53rd meeting of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad Senate and commended the university’s ongoing initiatives aimed at academic excellence and institutional development.
During the session the PHEC Chairman highlighted the importance of sustainable growth across higher education institutions and stressed that innovation must be embedded in research and teaching to meet evolving national needs. He underlined the value of strong academic leadership in steering universities toward long-term impact for Pakistan’s agricultural and scientific sectors.
The chairman’s remarks recognised the efforts of faculty and administration at UAF and called for continued focus on quality assurance, capacity building and collaborative approaches that align university programmes with national development priorities. His presence at the 53rd Senate meeting reinforced the role of regulatory oversight in promoting accountability and institutional progress.
