Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) has conducted a comprehensive review of its Three-Year Rolling Research Plan, aiming to better address the country’s key economic, social, and environmental challenges. The review was led by Vice Chancellor Dr. Nadeem Javaid, who brought together the directors of PIDE’s research centers, their teams, and academic deans for a critical evaluation and alignment of research priorities.
During the meeting, each research center director presented ambitious research agendas designed to tackle issues central to Pakistan’s development. The proposed projects focus on generating evidence-based insights to inform effective policymaking in areas such as economic development, social welfare, and environmental sustainability.
