**Children Explore Performing Arts and Storytelling at PITB Summer Camp**
The Punjab Information Technology Board’s (PITB) Summer Camp continued to inspire young minds with its engaging Day 2 program, where children aged 5 to 13 participated in interactive sessions focused on performing arts, digital storytelling, and theater. Organized as part of PITB’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the camp aims to foster creativity and learning through activity-based education.
Throughout the day, participants attended hands-on workshops designed to nurture their interests in creative expression. One of the highlights was a session on the “Bedtime Story Concept,” which guided children through classic fairytales and Aesop’s fables, encouraging imaginative storytelling and an appreciation for literary traditions.
The camp further introduced a digital storytelling session, where children learned to combine narrative skills with technology. This unique approach not only developed their storytelling abilities but also enhanced their modern communication skills in a creative and engaging way.
Another key feature was a workshop on theatre and music, allowing participants to explore the fundamentals of performance, expression, and rhythm. Through interactive play, children built confidence as they experimented with dramatic arts and musical techniques.
The day also included a calming “Reading Hour,” featuring activity-based books to promote literacy and the enjoyment of reading. The program concluded with a cheerful “Movie Time” segment, providing participants an opportunity to relax and reflect on the day’s experiences in a collaborative setting.
