The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) have signed an agreement for the provision of a customized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The initiative aims to digitize and automate TEVTA’s traditional operational systems, significantly improving workflow efficiency, reducing manual interventions, and enabling better service delivery through advanced data analytics.

The contract signing ceremony took place under the chairmanship of PITB Director General IT-Solutions, Waqar Naeem Qureshi, and TEVTA Director General Procurement, Colonel Rao Rashid. The agreement was officially signed by Colonel Rao Rashid on behalf of TEVTA and PITB’s Director Development & Procurement, Atta ur Rehman.

Senior officials from both organizations attended the event. Representing PITB were Additional DG Software Engineering Omar Suleman and Director IT Solutions Shahid Akram Khan, while TEVTA was further represented by its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mr. Naeem.

Following the contract signing, TEVTA DG Procurement Colonel Rao Rashid visited the PITB Data Center, where he received a detailed briefing about the center’s infrastructure, operations, and technological capabilities.

The newly developed ERP system by PITB is already operational in several governmental departments. It facilitates informed decision-making by offering real-time data insight and robust analytics. By leveraging this ERP system, TEVTA aims to achieve greater operational transparency, efficiency, and enhanced public service standards.
