Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, met with Sarah Pervaiz, Head of Formal Education at the British Council, to discuss collaborative opportunities aimed at strengthening formal education links and support for youth initiatives.
The conversation centred on ways to deepen cooperation in formal education, capacity building and youth engagement. Both leaders explored potential areas for joint work that could include teacher development, curriculum enhancement and programmes to widen access to quality learning for young Pakistanis, emphasising the value of international partnership in advancing educational outcomes.
The meeting underlined a shared interest in developing a practical roadmap for collaboration, with an eye to piloting initiatives that align with national youth priorities. Stakeholders said the PMYP partnership with the British Council could create expanded opportunities for talented young people and support long-term educational improvements.
