The Pakistan National Council of the Arts presented a collection of drawings and paintings created by students who completed a six-month Drawing and Painting course at the PNCA National Art Gallery in Islamabad. The PNCA exhibition highlighted a range of styles and techniques developed during the program and offered a platform for emerging local talent.
The show was inaugurated by Rear Admiral Fred Senevirathne (Retd), High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan, alongside Mr. Muhammad Ayoub Jamali, Director General PNCA. While praising the students’ work, the High Commissioner described the initiative as “a wonderful effort” and encouraged continued support for such cultural activities.
Mr. M. Ayoub Jamali expressed satisfaction with the quality of the artworks on display and commended the students for their dedication and hard work. He formally presented certificates to those who successfully completed the six-month course, underscoring PNCA’s commitment to arts education in the capital.
The exhibition is open to the public from 4th December to 9th December at the PNCA National Art Gallery, Islamabad. Visitors are invited to view the student works and witness the creative outcomes of the PNCA exhibition during these dates.
