The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) held an impressive Independence Day celebration in Islamabad, bringing together artists, government officials, and the public in a vibrant display of the country’s cultural diversity. Organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Cultural Forum and the Directorate of Ideology Pakistan, the event featured a wide variety of performances and activities that highlighted Pakistan’s rich heritage.
Renowned artists graced the stage, captivating the audience with their performances. Among them were the Haris Bazmi Group, Raasta Band, Raheel Mustafa, Liya Faras, Humaira Younis, and the Khushk Group. Their acts ranged from musical numbers to traditional performances, each reflecting the unique character of Pakistan’s cultural landscape.
The celebration was attended by prominent personalities, with Member of the National Assembly Ms. Farah Naz serving as the chief guest. In her keynote address, Ms. Naz emphasized the nation’s journey, praising the sacrifices, resilience, and unity that have defined Pakistan since its inception. She highlighted the essential role of arts in nurturing patriotism and a strong national identity, and called upon all citizens to uphold the spirit of unity and gratitude for the country’s independence and armed forces.
A ceremonial cake-cutting and a group photo session brought together honored guests and performers, symbolizing national togetherness and pride. The event concluded with enthusiastic applause and renewed patriotic fervor among attendees.
