The 32nd batch of the Friends of Police Internship Program has concluded at the Rawalpindi Police Lines Headquarters, in line with the vision of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. The program saw participation from students of various educational institutions, offering them hands-on exposure to police operations and community policing.

Over the course of the two-week internship, senior police officers delivered lectures covering key areas of police work and the different branches within the department. The participants received insights on police station operations, service centers, front desk management, digital policing applications, traffic control, legal procedures, and judicial actions.

In addition to classroom learning, students visited several important facilities, including specialized initiative police stations, police lines headquarters, command and control rooms, traffic headquarters, service centers at Liaquat Bagh, and the legal branch. These visits aimed to provide practical experience and a deeper understanding of policing activities.

The young interns will now be included in the police awareness campaign, with officials recognizing their potential to play a significant role in improving police work and service delivery. The main goal of the internship is to empower citizens, especially the youth, to assist in effective policing, crime prevention, drug control, traffic management, and the resolution of various community issues through collaborative efforts.

At the closing ceremony, DSP CRO Nadeem Malik distributed certificates to the participating students in recognition of their successful completion of the program.
