The Directorate General Population Welfare, part of the Health and Population Department in Punjab, has announced Capt. (R) Aurangzaib Khan as its new Director General. In his first official meeting, Capt. Khan met with officers from the Directorate and received a comprehensive briefing on the department’s ongoing activities and the responsibilities of its various divisions.
During the meeting, Capt. Khan underlined the vital role the department plays in population management and the promotion of family planning initiatives across Punjab. He stressed the need for dedication, effective teamwork, and innovation to advance the department’s mission. Capt. Khan encouraged staff members to work together towards the common goal of fostering a healthier and more prosperous Punjab.
