Khurram Zafar, the CEO of Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), participated in a stakeholder session organized by the Government of Punjab and FACE, dedicated to reviewing Punjab’s current agricultural landscape and roadmap planning for 2025–2026. The event, which was held in Lahore, convened agricultural industry leaders and key stakeholders to identify challenges and craft strategies aimed at driving the province’s agriculture sector toward modernity, transparency, and enhanced market linkages.
During the session, participants underscored the necessity for adopting advanced technologies, emphasizing transparent practices, and increasing accessibility to agricultural markets. These goals are closely aligned with PMEX’s established commitment to promoting a regulated, technology-driven agricultural trading ecosystem.
