Punjab Highway Patrol Organises Free Medical Camp

Punjab Highway Patrol held a free medical camp in Rawalpindi to provide timely healthcare to officers and families with exams and consultations.

Under the vision of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar, and with the leadership of DIG Punjab Highway Patrol Dr Athar Waheed and the special patronage of Regional Police Officer Rawalpindi Ghazi Faisal Saleem, a free medical camp was organised at the Police Lines Dispensary by Punjab Highway Patrol Region Rawalpindi to ensure quality and timely healthcare for officers, staff and their families.

A large number of personnel from the Punjab Highway Patrol, District Police and other units attended the camp and availed themselves of free medical examinations, specialist consultations and essential healthcare services. Medical teams from Taimar Medical and Cardiac Hospital provided care in line with high professional standards, a contribution that was well received by participants.

Regional Police Officer Rawalpindi Ghazi Faisal Saleem visited the camp, reviewed arrangements and emphasised that welfare measures are key to raising morale and improving professional performance. He reaffirmed that, following the direction of the Inspector General of Police Punjab and DIG Punjab Highway Patrol, such health initiatives will continue regularly to support service delivery and public safety standards.

The free medical camp demonstrates a practical step by the Punjab Highway Patrol to protect the health of its workforce, enhance professional capacity and strengthen welfare provisions for police personnel and their families across Rawalpindi.
