Naheed Gul Baloch, Director General of the Punjab Horticulture Authority, visited Rawalpindi to review ongoing beautification and public convenience projects across the city. Accompanied by MD Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, she toured several parks to assess progress and advise on further improvements.
At Adiala Park she carefully examined the upgradation work while Ahmed Hassan Ranjha briefed the delegation on the scope and timeline of the project. DG Punjab Horticulture commended the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi for its efforts and emphasized that the decoration of flowers and plants should be enhanced to strengthen the green character of public spaces.
During the visit to Rawal Park in Dhok Munshi, detailed discussions focused on expanding public facilities and improving the green environment. The DG stressed the need to upgrade jogging tracks and play areas for children, and directed concerned authorities to prioritize citizen convenience and safety in all recreational upgrades.
MD Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi outlined current and upcoming initiatives, including horticulture and infrastructure improvements along key corridors such as Murree Road. DG Punjab Horticulture reiterated the vision of a greener Rawalpindi and described the agency’s performance as commendable while urging more effective implementation of beautification projects.
Following the park inspections, the team held a detailed meeting at the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi office to plan future projects. The MD assured that HA Rawalpindi remains committed to delivering better recreational facilities and a sustained green environment for residents across the city.
