The Punjab government has announced a new initiative to provide dedicated medical facilities for provincial bureaucrats and their families. The move aims to ensure that officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) and the Provincial Management Service (PMS) receive specialized healthcare services.

To oversee this initiative, the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department has appointed Zunair Maqsood, a Section Officer, as the focal person. Maqsood will be responsible for coordinating with key officials, including vice-chancellors, directors, deans, and medical superintendents of various medical institutions, to facilitate the provision of medical services to eligible officers and their families.

In addition, the focal person will work closely with Sharheel Ahmed from the Welfare Facilitation Cell under the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) to ensure smooth implementation of the program. This dedicated approach is expected to enhance access to quality healthcare for provincial officers and address their specific medical needs efficiently.
