Punjab Road Safety Training Series Boosts Accident Prevention

The Punjab Traffic Police, in collaboration with Atlas Honda Pakistan Limited, has launched an advanced training series aimed at road safety and accident prediction as part of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Safe Punjab” vision. The program seeks to strengthen traffic regulation and reduce road accidents by providing senior traffic officers and field staff with modern, effective training.

The latest session in this series took place in Lahore under the guidance of DIG Traffic Police Punjab Muhammad Waqas Nazir and the supervision of SSP Traffic Police Punjab Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah. The session focused on equipping traffic personnel with advanced techniques to protect human lives and minimize accident rates on Punjab’s roads.

Training was conducted by safety experts who have received specialized instruction from Japanese road safety specialists, ensuring the adoption of global best practices. Atlas Honda Limited reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to promoting road safety in the province through these collaborative initiatives.
