Vice Chairperson of the Punjab Social Protection Authority, Jahan Ara Manzoor Wattoo, paid a special visit to Pakistan Sweet Homes in Islamabad, where she was warmly welcomed by the institution’s founder and CEO, Zamurrad Khan. During the visit, Jahan Ara Manzoor Wattoo praised the tireless efforts and sacrifices of the Sweet Homes team in caring for orphaned children, highlighting the organization’s dedication to providing not just shelter but a place filled with love, compassion, and hope.
She emphasized that Pakistan Sweet Homes serves as a beacon where children’s dreams are nurtured and their futures are shaped. Reflecting on her past role as Pakistan’s Ambassador for Orphan Children, she explained that she viewed this mission not merely as a duty but as a service to humanity. She stressed the importance of caring for orphans, noting that religion, culture, and human values all encourage supporting and uplifting these children.
During her visit, Jahan Ara Manzoor Wattoo delivered a message of unity and sacrifice in connection with Independence Day, reminding everyone of the commitment to building a prosperous and just Pakistan. She highlighted that the country’s future lies in the hands of these children, and called for collective responsibility from government bodies, private organizations, and every citizen to ensure every child receives dignity, protection, and equal opportunities for development.
