Raja Aamir Zaman, son of the late federal minister Raja Sikandar Zaman and a former member of the National Assembly, spoke at length about his political experience, ties to the constituency and future plans. He described his electoral area as extensive and expressed deep gratitude to the people who have consistently supported him at provincial and district levels.
He offered special thanks to the residents of the hilly region and Haripur, saying he is forever indebted to their support. Raja Aamir Zaman highlighted that the backing from the mountain communities has been a steady source of strength in his public work and political life.
Paying tribute to local organizers, he singled out Haider Zaman Abbasi and Sher Akbar Abbasi from village Darkot and praised their entire team for tireless service to the area, saying words fall short to acknowledge their efforts.
On delivering development, Raja Aamir Zaman said he is actively striving to turn central leadership promises into reality. He reiterated that commitments made by Captain Safdar and Murtaza Javed Abbasi for Haripur are being pursued and that he is pressing for implementation at the federal level.
Highlighting a long-standing local demand, he called for the construction of a hospital at a point between Sangrda and Jabri, noting that daily delegations bring the issue to him. He stressed that if the hospital is established in the Jabri area, it will answer a persistent need across a large part of the region.
On education, Raja Aamir Zaman said discussions with Murtaza Javed Abbasi over the Danesh School project are ongoing and likely to reach a conclusion soon. He assured constituents that, in keeping with how people entrusted him with their votes, he will continue efforts to secure tangible projects for the mountain region.
Summing up his political philosophy, Raja Aamir Zaman said he and his family have always treated politics as a form of service and worship rather than business. He thanked workers across Hazara and Haripur tehsil for supporting PML-N and electing Babar Nawaz, and reaffirmed his commitment to do everything within his capacity to reduce the area’s backwardness.
