Rawalpindi beautification brings floral displays to highways and parks; visit clean green spaces this Eid

The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi has completed a citywide effort to brighten roads and parks with fresh flowers and plantings in preparation for Eid-ul-Fitr, part of an ongoing Rawalpindi beautification drive to present welcoming public spaces.

Decoration work has been finished on main highways, traffic intersections, green belts and municipal parks, including Murree Road, Double Road, Faizabad, Rawal Road and the Ojri Camp area, where colourful floral displays now line the carriageways and park paths.

Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, Managing Director of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, said Eid-ul-Fitr is a festival of sharing happiness and love and that the agency aims to offer the best recreational facilities to the public. He added that staff remain ready to assist residents and visitors during the holidays.

The Rawalpindi beautification project focuses on clean green spaces so families can enjoy outings during Eid; highways, parks and intersections have been prepared to ensure a pleasant environment, and the agency has urged citizens to cooperate with the district administration to keep the city clean throughout the celebrations.
