Rawalpindi Board Celebrates 78th Independence Day with National Spirit

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event highlighted the spirit of national pride, with board officials, employees, and special guests coming together for a solemn and dignified ceremony at the board complex.

The ceremony’s chief guest, Chairman of the Rawalpindi Education Board, Muhammad Adnan Khan, led the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by heartfelt prayers for the country’s progress and security. The event, held in the board’s green lawns beautifully decorated with lights, was attended by Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, Secretary Amjad Iqbal Khattak, officers, and a large number of staff members.

Throughout the ceremony, participants displayed their patriotism by waving national flags and singing the national anthem. In his address, Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan emphasized that Pakistan was achieved through immense sacrifices, and it is the shared responsibility of all citizens to protect and value this freedom. He called upon everyone to be grateful for the blessing of independence and to celebrate it wholeheartedly as a living nation.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to mark Independence Day and the distribution of sweets among participants. The air resonated with spirited slogans in support of Pakistan, and special prayers were offered for the nation’s continued development, peace, and prosperity.
